About us
Are you longing for a church family to belong? Are you looking for a vibrant and caring Bible-believing, Filipino church? Do you have a desire to find a place where you can worship and serve the Lord in your cultural context, and yet be part of ? Your search is over, Kabayan! This is the right place for you. We are the Filipino Ministry of Valley Baptist Church in Bakersfield, CA.
We meet in Building 7 of Valley Baptist Church, 5500 Olive Drive Bakersfield CA 93308. Our Worship Service promptly starts at 11:00 am and ends 12:15 pm.
What we do
Emphasis on the Word
We give priority to the sound study and preaching of the word of God. God's word is always relevant and transcends cultural difference. While the congregation is a mixed Filipino, American group, the word of God caters to all needs.
Outdoor services
Every Year during Easter we hold our worship service at the Park. It's one of ways to provide a friendlier atmosphere for everyone to relax, enjoy and connect with one another.
The Men's Group
At least once a month, the men gather at the park for fellowship and a study of the word. At times, we book a special place to hold a somewhat formal men's gathering.
